Here is a video of a Williams Electric Trains Santa Fe ALCo PA 1. I've had these locomotives for 12 years. And seeing I had my Santa Fe passenger cars set up, I decided to make a video of them. The passenger cars are made by MTH. The track is K-Line tubular with O-81 curves. And this train is being controlled with a Lionel ZW transformer.

Seven scenes of "Metro Trains Melbourne" Hitachi passenger trains filmed on 17+18/5/2010. Filming locations are about 1.5km either side of Huntingdale station. Introduced to service in 1972, the trains are the oldest in the Metro Trains Melbourne suburban fleet still in revenue service. Electrical equipment was supplied by Commonwealth Engineering to designs by Hitachi of Japan, leading to their official name today, though no actual Hitachi-supplied components were used in their construction. Hitachi trains have been also known as Martin & King or Stainless Steel trains and are one of the few trains still in operation that allows windows to be opened by passengers.

The last electric trains were run as specials to Warragul Victoria Australia on December 5th 1998. Warragul is situated on the Gippsland line which was electrified as far as Traralgon in the early 1950s and was the final destination for electric trains after cutbacks - after withdrawal of the Electric locomotives and general goods trains from the Victorian system. The extension of suburban trains from Dandenong, and terminating them at Warragul on their system devoid of the 25 English Electric locomotives designed for the line, would have been a situation surely impossible to envisage for the men who designed and constructed this then new system of transportation, as a big mover of coal...

Two weeks after our first visit, we returned to the East Troy Electric Railroad to ride/fan their vintage interurban cars once more. They had four different trains/cars operating on this day, and we rode all of them: 1.) Chicago South Shore & South Bend No. 13 (with CSS&SB No. 9 trailing) from the Elegant Farmer Station near Mukwonago to East Troy. The other three cars all ran opposite the CSS&SB train, one right after another, and we met them all at Army Lake Siding. At Sawyer's Market Crossing, someone attending the auction there parked their pickup too close to the tracks for the wide South Shore cars to clear. 2.) Sheboygan Light, Power & Railway No. 26 from East Troy...

These class 303 electric multiple units began service on Glasgow's northern network in 1960 and on the south side Cathcart Circle the following year. They were originally painted Caledonian blue and thus called 'blue trains' by locals. The basic three-car set - seen here - could be extended to six, nine and twelve cars when business demanded - like during rush hours and for major football tournaments at Hampden Park. The greatest feature of these trains - at least as far as we kids were concerned - was the big glass observation panel in the leading coach, which provided an excellent view of both the driver in his cab and the track ahead. Later, when the trains were refurbished in the 1980s...
